Veterans are people who have served their country in any capacity, whether it be active duty military service or reserve status. Veterans are often referred to as heroes because they put themselves at risk for others. They are willing to fight for what they believe in and protect those that cannot protect themselves.
Captives are people who are taken against their will and forced into situations where they do not want to be. This can include kidnapping, hostage taking, or even slavery. Family is a term used to describe a group of individuals related through blood, marriage, or adoption. In this case, the family refers to the father, mother, and son.
Reuniting with family is a blessing after being so far from home. My wife is beautiful inside and out. She is smart, funny, kind, caring, loving, and everything else that I could ask for in a woman. She is the best thing that has happened to me. Because I’ve been in the military for so long, there have been too many days spent away from my family. I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with my sons and daughters. I love them and if anyone tries to tell you different they are lying. Love is something that everyone needs. Everyone wants to feel loved and accepted. When someone shows you that they care about you, it makes you feel good. I love my family so much and I hope they feel the same way about me.
Family is a great thing that can make your life better. I have been away from my family for over 2 years now. I miss them but I am happy to be back with them. Home is where you feel safe and comfortable. When I was away from home, I felt like I didn’t have a home anymore. But once I got back, I felt much happier and relaxed. Veterans don’t always make it back in more ways than one.
