There are Veterans who are needlessly suffering and barely surviving because they’re unaware of medical services available to them through the Veterans Administration. Since the outbreak of the Coronavirus disease / Covid-19, everything has seemingly been turned upside down but the Veterans Hospitals are still operating 24/7. You might not have all or any part of your military credentials around anymore but you can still get help. You’ll be asked for some form of identification. They also might ask for your date of birth, social security number, branch of service, DD Form 214, rank or date of separation. Pre-registration is requested but not always required. Do not wait until it’s too late to reach out for help.
