The Euhomey 54-Quart (52L) 12V Portable Compressor Refrigerator/ Freezer is considered one of the best budget friendly options for camping, road trips and overlanding. If you’re tired of dealing with melting ice, soggy food and buying bags of ice every couple of days, upgrading to a 12V compressor fridge like mine shown here is a game changer.

True Refrigeration and Freezing: Unlike thermoelectric coolers (which only drop the temperature relative to the outside air), this uses a real compressor. It can chill down to -4°F (-20°C). You can use it as a full fridge or a full freezer. You can use the 54qt is a single large compartment with a basket or a dual-zone with a removable divider. It’s also got a light inside, is Bluetooth compatible and has a reversible top lid.

No Need To Buy Ice: You gain a massive amount of usable storage space because you don’t need to sacrifice 30–40% of the cooler to ice. Plus, your food stays dry and fresh indefinitely. Euhomey is priced aggressively compared to premium brand name fridges offering similar cooling performance.

Power Efficiency: It runs on 12V/24V DC (car cigarette lighter) or 110V AC (wall outlet). I power mine 24/7 with my Bluetti Solar Generator/ Power Station shown in the video. It features battery protection modes (Low, Med, High) so it won’t completely drain your car battery if you forget to unplug it. On average, it draws about 45-60 watts and cycles on and off, meaning it uses very little power over a 24-hour period (roughly 40–60 Ah depending on ambient temp). Most models come with heavy duty handles, wheels and a rugged exterior designed to handle bumpy dirt roads.
