Time is a strange and pliable thing. It’s a reality I was reminded of after discovering a message from 3 years ago, posted by a dear friend. I hadn’t heard from her in 54 years. Seeing her name flash across the screen felt like unearthing a time capsule. Messaging with her instantly transported me back to an era of transistor radios, endless summers and shared secrets that felt monumental at the time. As we began catching up, it became easy to communicate with her about work, relationships, death and family that bridged more than half a century of our lives. It’s a beautiful reminder that some human connections never truly expire, they merely rest quietly, waiting for the right moment to awaken. Thank you very much, CBH.
